Pleat

Pleat is a lamp created using cellular shades. This flexible material becomes structural when made into a cylinder. The cells and pockets also allow the light to diffuse throughout the surface, creating an even glow.

Hidden from site, the spun metal base gives Pleat its structure and a place to hold the lamp. The surface is smooth enough to allow the shade to slip on and off in order to change the light bulb.
